Weber Smokey Joe Gold is a smart griller for outdoor camps and picnics. It is only 14.5 inches wide and can be carried by the aluminum lid lock that doubles up as lid. Cooking grates are resistant to rust as it is crusted three times by nickel. Porcelain shelling in appropriate areas keeps the shine intact. This product allows even side cooking on the grates and can cook for more 3 to 4 person at a time.

The nylon resistant handle allows smooth operation. Heat generation is adequate and there is a thermometer to regulate different heat for meat and vegetables. The equipment comes with a 10-year warranty that it supposedly does not use due to its strong coating. There is a 310-page guide on recipe and griller maintenance. It is an updated version of all Smokey Joe Grill varieties from Weber.

Our Review

Its high point is easy carriage and the ability to cook for about 4 people at a time. The food is evenly cooked and there are control knobs. Nylon handles make it easy for the hands. Cleaning may be a bit problematic. Durability is assured and there are grill frames for slight storage. Cooking grates, in fact the entire equipment, is extremely resistant to heat and fading. Presence of nickel undermines the fact. It can do with additional accessories however.

In conclusion

A brilliant contraption if one is a party animal and likes throwing fares on camps. It is perhaps the most portable Weber grill.
